Leyland Surgery, The Surgery Chorley & Station Surgery are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Practice Nurse to join our team to provide and maintain high standards of care to our patients.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding, diverse, health care team and provide patient centred care in a modern, forward thinking practice.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
❖ Excellent clinical skills
❖ Be trained in Chronic Disease Management, Cervical Screening, Treatment Room Procedures, Childhood Immunisations and Travel Vaccinations
❖ Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
❖ An enthusiastic and flexible approach to team working
Outstanding applicants with no prior general practice experience may also apply as full training will be given to the right candidate.
As a member of the team you will be;
❖ Supported by a full complement of clinical and non- clinical staff
❖ Fully involved with regular internal clinical education sessions
❖ Encouraged to develop your role in a recognised training practice
❖ Benefit from on site facilities such as a staff gym
Salary: Band 6 equivalent dependent on experience
Hours: Full time / part time considered. Hours to include weekends/evenings on a rota basis.

Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Physiotherapist

This is an exciting training opportunity to join our expanding, diverse, health care team and provide patient centred care in a modern, forward thinking practice.
As this is a Trainee Post, the entry requirements are:
- A first degree (2:2 class or above) in a relevant subject
- A current professional registration with a relevant professional/statutory body
- 3 years post-registration clinical experience
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- An enthusiastic and flexible approach to team working
- Innovation and Leadership Skills
- Comprehensive MSK knowledge with underpinning anatomy and physiology
As a member of the team you will be
- Supported by a full complement of clinical and non- clinical staff
- Fully involved with regular internal clinical education sessions
- Encouraged to develop your role in a recognised training practice.
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
