Jarrod O’Neill

So, my name is Jarrod, and I am 55 years old. I have been a medic for over 20 years, first starting my journey in the British armed forces, where I served in several theatres' world - wide, such as but not limited to Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Libya, Somalia, and Syria to name a few. 

Since leaving the military, I decided to peruse a career in paramedicine, first completing an undergraduate BSc degree in paramedic practice then completing further studies in MSc advanced clinical practice, MSc cardiology and MSc remote offshore medical practice. I also hold ALS membership, and currently teach ALS to a wide cohort of different students. My enthusiasm for advanced practice is forever growing, with much of my ongoing work conducted in primary, out - of - hours and urgent care practice settings. 

My current interests involve clinical research, fishing, and spending time with my family.
