Our Appointment System

Book face-to-face or telephone appointments with your GP, nurse or clinician at a time that suits you.
Your details and information are protected by the highest standards of online
security, so all you need to worry about is what to do with the spare time you’ve
earnt.
Appointments
Consultations are by appointment and can be made by ringing reception, using the NHS APP, online via the link at the top of this page or by calling into the surgery when it is open.
Appointments are released each day to book 2 days, 7 days and 2 weeks in advance for routine appointments. Our appointments are 10 minutes each, and are always in short supply, we would ask that you try to turn up in plenty of time, and inform reception if you are unable to attend. Please bear with us if we are running late.
You have the right to express a preference of practitioner when booking your appointment and we will accomodate this subject to the availability of the clinicain. You can do this by selecting the clinican you prefer using when the NHS app, or by informing our receptionists over the telephone.

Emergency Clinic
This is a same day emergency clinic for acute problems only. Each appointment will be 10 minutes long and will run from 9am each week day morning. To be seen in the emergency clinic you will need to phone reception on the day, these appointments will be given on a first come first served basis.
When making the appointment the receptionist will ask you the nature of the problem; this is only done in order that the GP can prioritise each patient. This clinic is not appropriate for ongoing medical problems or for repeat prescriptions. Please book a routine GP appointment for these.
Nurse Services
Appointments with the Nurse or Healthcare Assistant are available to book online and through reception. A wide range of services are offered, as different services may require differing amounts of time, it helps if you are prepared to advise reception of the purpose of your appointment. There is, however, no compulsion to do this, and your confidentiality will be respected at all times. The clinics we offer are daily and at different times of the day to ensure more flexibility for our patients.
Telephone Advice
The surgery has a limited number of telephone appointments available if you feel telephone advice will suffice. Alternatively our receptionists will do their best to assist in care navigating you to the most appropriate service. Please be mindful, clinicians are limited in that they can not physically examine or make an assessment over the telephone.
